Hassan Bouhadi has 18 years of experience in leading and managing regional business operations across the Middle East & Africa (MEA). He is Vice Chairman & COO at Oscar Infrastructure Services
In 2014 he was appointed as Chairman and CEO of the Libyan Investment Authority (LIA) until 2016.
Before joining the LIA, he was the Regional Director for the MEA region, Silicone Division, of Wacker Chemie AG. In 2012, Hassan joined General Electric (GE) in Libya as Country Manager leading the business development operation for the main GE divisions including Power Generation, Aviation and Healthcare.
Hassan started his career in 1997 as a field engineer with Bechtel International as part of the Graduate Fast-Track management program. During his tenure, Hassan was exposed to a variety of infrastructure projects in UK & Middle East including power and desalination plants in Abu Dhabi and wastewater treatment works in Liverpool. He moved on to specialize in business development by joining Fosroc, a BP company, and then BASF as the Regional Manager in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
He's a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK, and also a Fellow of the Institute of Sales & Marketing Management, UK. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering from University College London and Masters Degree from Imperial College London, University of London.
During the recent Libyan revolution, Hassan was a member of the Libya Stabilization Team which coordinated the humanitarian activities with the international community to support the Libyan people in their struggle for freedom.
Hassan is a British/Libyan citizen married and blessed with three kids. Hassan is based in Dubai Office.
